Dropout Rebrand Announcement Video

Dropout, formerly ‘College Humor’ released this video to announce its new branding.

The viewer follows Sam, the company’s CEO, around Dropout’s premises, who pauses at the ‘The Dome',’ which is the set of ‘Dimension 20.’

I had the opportunity to help conceptualize the moment, as shown in these storyboards. The idea was brought to life by projection designer Derek Christiansen, who also designed the projections system of The Dome itself.

It was a rewarding opportunity both to design a poignant moment and to celebrate my peers at Dropout.
