FEATURED PROJECTS
Fantasy high junior year | ‘astral food court’
The Task: A translucent, two story mall food court in 28mm (roughly 1/4”) scale.
Created 3D model from production designer’s sketch
Generated laser cut files from the model
Spearheaded communication between designer, model shop, and other team members to ensure accurate assembly.

A Starstruck Odyssey
This season used Talespire, a digital, video-game like simulator of physical battlesets. During combat episodes, players would move their avatars using their laptops, and footage of the digital world was edited into the show.
We worked with the program’s developers to create custom assets and tailor the program to our production’s needs. I liaised between the show’s production designer, Rick Perry, and a team of ten digital artists to create custom interactive environments for our players, based off the graphic novel ‘Starstruck.’
Digital set we made for the space station ‘Rec 97’
Players at the table using Talespire. We also created the acrylic space-map in the center.
Creating ‘The Wurst’ Airship
The Task: Make a fully explorable 3D airship
I worked from the designer’s sketches to flesh out and model the interior
Created briefs for Z brush artists to create custom assets, and coordinated with Talespire’s devs to import them into the interface.
Supervised the final modeling of the ship in Talespire, ensuring that it expressed the production designer’s vision.

Creating the ‘Battle of the Bands’ set
The Task: Create a 3D gaming environment for a gladiator style fight
I had the opportunity to do some early concepting on this set, and thought about how to create the highest physical stakes.
We suspended the fighting area over an infinite drop, accessible only by thin bridges that would retract once the players landed.
We needed VIP seating for rich overlord characters, so I referenced unusual goblet-shaped seating structures I found in the source material, placed to intentionally block other viewers of lower status.
Supervised final modeling, coordinated with other departments to incorporate motion graphics, coordinated the creation of custom assets

Burrow’s End | Nuclear Reactor Set
The Task: Create the final battle set of the season, set in a crumbled nuclear reactor.
Modeled this in Sketchup from the production designer’s sketches, and used it to create laser cut files for the reactor’s floor details and the I beams.
I also coordinated between the production designer, 3d sculptors, 3d printers, and painters to ensure all the character figurines seen here were completed.

Burrow’s End | Puzzle Set
This battle took place vertically in a large drain pipe. I modeled the set and worked with the production designer, carpenter, and model makers to ensure it was complete on time, on budget, and in accordance with the production designer’s vision.
